How old do I have to be to rent a boat?

Must be 21 years of age. Tennessee law requires anyone born after January 1, 1989, to pass a boater safety course and to carry a boater education card. The boater safety course can be taken online at https://www.boat-ed.com/tennessee

Can I have my boat delivered to where I am staying and/or keep it overnight offsite?

No. All of our boats must be returned to the marina by 6:00 PM every evening. You may arrange for multi-day rentals, however you cannot leave your gear on the boat during the rental period.

How many people can we have on the boat?

All of our boats have a coast guard data plate that states the maximum weight and number of people allowed on board. All boats must not exceed these maximum guidelines. We will inform you on what these numbers are to help you pick the appropriate boat.

May I take my pet with me?

We have one rental that is pet-friendly, the Bentley Pontoon. This is the only rental that we allow pets on.

Do I or my guests have to wear a life-jacket?

All children under 13 years of age MUST by LAW wear a US Coast Guard Approved life jacket. We do NOT provide children’s life jackets. We do provide enough ADULT vests for the maximum capacity of our boats. If you or our guests can’t swim we HIGHLY recommend those persons wear vests at all times.

How does the fuel charge work?

We provide a full tank of gas and check to see how much gas was used when you get back and charge you market value for the fuel used.

Is there an additional charge for damage?

There will be equipment walk through before boat is taken out on the water. The renter is responsible for any new damage when the boat is returned.

Can we tow behind the rental boats?

We do not allow towing of any type behind the rental boats.

What time do we need to return to the dock?

All rentals must be brought back to the dock by 6:00 PM.

What should I bring?

Depending on what you rent will somewhat determine what to bring, but sunscreen, hat and sunglasses, and a camera are always a good idea. Having a dry bag for your phone, wallet, keys, etc. is also recommended. Remember, conditions on the water can change rapidly so make sure to bring appropriate clothing such as a rain coat and warm, dry clothing.

What is your cancellation policy?

4-14 days prior to reservation: $50 cancellation fee
3 days or less prior to reservation: $100 cancellation Fee
Cancelled day of: FULL charge of rental

A refund will be issued ONLY if hazardous conditions occur. Such as lightning, tornadoes, etc. Rain or other non-favorable conditions do not constitute grounds for a refund.
